Connect with God | Connect with others | Connect others with God

College & Career

Led by Blake and Brittani Fowler

"We are Blake and Brittani Fowler, the College and Carrer Connect Group leaders. Just recently coming out of our 20's and being newly married, we understand the desires and struggles that come with being young and single. Our prayer is that this group will provide guidance, security, and even friendship during this crucial stage in your life. The college and Career Connect Group is a place for young, single adults to connect and grow spiritually. We began this group with the knowledge that young adults who are seeking Jesus need friends who can build them up, hold them accountable, pray for them, and sharpen them. It does not escape us that this was one of the most difficult times in our lives to be a consistent Jesus follower, with so many aspects of the world pulling us in every direction as we made life-altering decisions.

Our mission is to provide a place where we can pour into young adults and equip them for the next chapters of their lives.

We have a Sunday morning class, and we wither meet once a month in our home or make plans for a fun outing (Escape Rooms, bowling, movies, etc..) We hope if you are out of high school, in college or vocational school, or even in the early stages of your career, and have never been married, that you will join us for fun and spiritual growth as we connect with Jesus and connect with one another."

Roberson's Connect Group

Led by Mike and Barbara Roberson

"We are Mike and Barb Roberson and lead the Roberson's Connect Group. We have been members of Victory Church for over 20 years and have been Connect Group leaders for almost that long. We came from St. Louis, Missouri 22 years ago (from our church family of 20 years) and found our new church family right away at Victory Church. We have been Christ followers since our twenties. We have been so blessed as to have met, married, and raised our kids (now out of the nest) in the Church. Under the pastorship, teaching and ministry of Pastor Mike and Janet at Victory Church, we have grown in our love of people sharing faith, love, and joy as well as pain, disappointment and sorrow as any family would share and stand steadfast with one another.

We are not strangers to "Home Fellowship" groups and have either been members or leaders of some type of home group since we became believers. We have found the small group to be a place of strong bonding and spiritual growth. We have an earnest desire to see people grow together in love and in the spirit, in Jesus Christ.

A typical meeting will find us sharing food, fellowship, praise and worship, scripture and prayer. I play guitar and find a lot of joy in leading small, intimate groups of worshippers. Oftentimes, both during our praise and worship time, we spend as much time as possible in prayer for each other and those things that concern our families, our church, our nation, and the world. Praying for one another is really important to us. The small group allows us to really "connect" and get a little closer so we can see and remember each others needs."

Meetings: 4th Sunday of every month

We typically meet for about 2 hours right after our morning church service. If you have been part of a home group before and are missing it, or if you just want to find out what it is all about, please come and join us. We're pretty much "just folks" here and love to make new friends.

We look forward to seeing you at our Connect Group.

Rotate

Led by Matt and Jasie Perry

"We are Matt and Jasie Perry and we love leading the Rotate Connect Group! When we were in our late 20's we were part of a small group that changed our lives. We built lasting friendships in that group and those people fought with us in some of the hardest battles of our life, but also celebrated some of the greatest victories right beside us. Our leaders imparted wisdom into us as we watched them lead their family and as we discussed God's word in our group meetings. As the leaders of this group, we strive to be those people for someone else and are motivated by the simple phrase, "Be the person you needed when you were younger."

Our group is primarily made up of families that are young in their marriages, have young children, or both. This is a common denominator in our group, but not the focus, so anyone who wishes to grow in their relationships with others and with Jesus are welcome! When attending our group you can expect a great potluck meal, a time of discussion, and always an oppurtunity to talk about our lives and pray for one another. We are a sports family so you're almost always certain to find a game on before and after our group time. All kiddos are welcome to our monthly meetings. We also try to do some occasional outing with the kids and date nights for the adults without kids to mix things up now and then. We meet on the 3rd Sunday of each month at "rotating" host homes.

We would love to visit with you if you're looking for a Connect Group at Victory!"

Furr's Connect Group

Led by Randy and Maribeth Furr

"We are Randy and Maribeth Furr and we have been part of Victory Church for 25 years. We have one son Alex, who is 28 years old. Having gone through the stages of raising a family, we understand the value of belonging to a strong church with a strong church family. We have had many seasons here and we understand first and foremost that a personal relationship with Jesus is the most important part of who we are. having the support of our church famly has helped us in joyful and hard times.

We are made up of an eclectic group of many empty nesters and some singles but we welcome all to be apart of our Connect Group. You can always expect to laugh a lot and have a good time while discussing the Word of God as we grow and form true relationships with one another and our Father.

We would love for you to come and visit our group so that we can get to know you better!
